Open Science Session

The Open Science Session will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 14:20 to 15:20 CET in the “Dragan Popović” Lecture Hall at the Institute of Physics Belgrade, as part of the Advances in Solid State Physics and New Materials – Spring Workshop 2026.
The session will focus on the topics Open Science in Serbia: Not a Fairy Tale, but a Good Case Study and The Serbian Reproducibility Network: Building Reliable and Open Research Practices in Serbia, providing practical insights and guidance on the implementation of Open Science principles and reproducible research practices in Serbia.
The event will feature invited speakers Biljana Kosanović from the University of Belgrade Computer Centre (RCUB) and Matija Zlatar from the University of Belgrade – Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy.
The session is organized within the framework of the ERA Chair project HIP-2D-QM at the Center for Solid State Physics and New Materials, Institute of Physics Belgrade, as part of activities dedicated to advancing policy dialogue and promoting responsible, transparent, and open research practices.
